It is called dilegùm a special necklace (guia) made with braided strands of beads of the color of the entity to which it is dedicated. Used in the Candomblé and Umbanda rituals. dilegùm is richly handworked and is an article of precious artistic value. Black and white dilegùm is associated to Omolù, to Exù and Pomba Gira of the cemetery and to the Pretos Velhos line of Umbanda.
